Rachel Roupp is a poet from the mountains of Pennsylvania. She graduated from Mansfield University in 2017 with a BA in English Literature. Her poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in Crab Fat MagazineChantwood MagazineKomorebi Literary MagazineMind MuralsPersephone’s DaughtersHoney & LimeRust + Moth, and Rag Queen Periodical, where she served as the Social Media Coordinator.

Rachel won 1st place in the 2017 EAPSU poetry contest for her poem “Seamstresses.” She was also the recipient of the 2017 Bernie Koloski Book Award for Outstanding Achievement in American Literature and the 2016 Ann Mabe Book Award for her work in Women’s Studies. Rachel was also recently awarded the 2018 Sigma Tau Delta Eastern Regent Scholarship. Rachel is currently working on MFA in Creative Writing at Chatham University.
